Your privacy is important to us, as part of our ongoing platform security enhancement, we are releasing two factor authentication (2FA). While signing-in, you may be asked to enter a 6 digit code that will be shared to your registered email.
What is Two-factor authentication (2FA)?
Two-factor authentication (2FA), also known as two-step verification, is a security process that requires users to provide two different types of authentication in order to access a particular account or service. The two factors typically include something the user knows, such as a password or PIN, and something the user has, such as a security token or a mobile phone.
How does it work?
The purpose of 2FA is to add an extra layer of security to an account. Even if an unauthorized person manages to obtain your password or PIN, they won't be able to access the account without the second factor of authentication. This is because the second factor is usually unique and changes frequently, making it much harder for a hacker to duplicate or guess.
