To comply with the Consumer Protection (Electronic Trade Transaction) Regulations 2024, we will soon introduce new mandatory fields for advertisers to complete to continue listing products or services on our platform.
We, Mudah.my, are required by law to collect and maintain seller information. This applies to all advertisers, including casual and individual advertisers conducting Consumer-To-Consumer (C2C) transactions.
The following details will be required as part of your profile information.
Once the fields are ready, we will notify you and prompt you to update your profile via the Edit Profile page.
For record-keeping (not publicly displayed):
- Full name (as per IC/Passport)
- Address
- Phone number
- IC or passport number
- Email address
- SSM registration number (if applicable)
- Website address (if applicable)
*Note: The required information applies to every user under the main account, not just the primary account holder.
For display on ads:
- Description of the goods/services
- Full price (including transportation, taxes, etc.)
- Method of payment
- Terms & conditions for the goods/services
