Dear users, kindly be informed that SafeDeal will be discontinued from our platform in stages, effective 11 September 2025.
For sellers, you will no longer be able to create SafeDeal ads effective 11 September 2025. Any existing ads with SafeDeal will still be available until they expire automatically. If you choose to renew your ad, it will be renewed as a normal ad and not a SafeDeal ad.
For buyers, the SafeDeal option will be removed effective 11 December 2025, and you will no longer be able to purchase items via SafeDeal on our platform.
During this transition, any transactions made through SafeDeal will still be honoured, and the money in SafeDeal will be released to the respective parties as usual.

SafeDeal protects both buyers and sellers, as Mudah.my receives the buyer payment and holds it until the transaction is completed and both parties are satisfied. SafeDeal helps to secure your payments and protect your transactions.
What is Trustap?
Trustap is Mudah.my’s payment platform partner that protects you when buying or selling online. Trustap is a European-based digital transaction platform that specializes in secured online payments.
Why should I use SafeDeal, and what does it cover?
SafeDeal is a great feature that protects both the buyer and seller. It allows both parties to have a secure buying and selling experience. With SafeDeal, payments will be held and protected by Mudah.my until the transaction is completed and the buyer receives his/her item(s) as listed.
What SafeDeal covers:
- Items that are not received
- Items that are received but not as listed
Once the seller notifies the buyer that the item(s) has been delivered (through shipping or meet-up), the buyer needs to check the item(s). If it is not as listed, the buyer can raise a dispute, and our customer support will assist both parties. We recommend that the buyer and seller communicate through Mudah’s platform chat to resolve the issue, or our customer support will handle the case.
How do I buy/purchase items with SafeDeal?

Start chatting with the seller to confirm the item price and decide how to complete the deal, and you can click on the “Buy Now” button within the chat, where you can review the transaction details and proceed to payment.
You will be redirected to the payment page to pay for the item with your preferred choice of payment (debit/credit card or FPX online banking). Once the payment is successful, the seller will be notified. You can also reach out to the seller until you receive the item through your preferred delivery method (meet-up or delivery).
